In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure that building environments are comfortable, efficient, and compliant with safety standards. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, controls to diagnose issues accurately Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on HVAC/R equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency Repair plumbing connections related to refrigeration and HVAC systems while adhering to plumbing codes Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installation and repair tasks efficiently Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports documenting all activities performed Skills electrc and or plumbing skills a plus service technician experience in HVAC or refrigeration fields Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams accurately understanding of HVAC design principles and mechanical systems repair techniques Experience with HVAC system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems Mechanical knowledge of boilers, appliances, electrical systems, and building automation controls Proficiency with hand tools, electrical diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters, and refrigerant recovery tools Knowledge of EPA regulations related to refrigerants (EPA certification required) Familiarity with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems Ability to diagnose issues using electrical diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting skills Valid van driver's license for transportation between job sites This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to leverage their technical expertise in a collaborative environment.
