The organization is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join its service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing residential and light commercial HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, technical expertise, and a customer-first mindset.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-split systems, boilers, and related equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal service inspections.
Install HVAC components and equipment as needed.
Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers.
Complete service documentation, work orders, and related reports accurately.
Participate in on-call rotation and emergency service calls as required.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a professional manner.
Stay current on HVAC technology, products, and best practices.
QualificationsMinimum 3+ years of HVAC service experience.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience servicing air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and ductless systems.
Knowledge of HVAC installation, repair, and preventative maintenance procedures.
EPA Certification preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and system specifications.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
