You will oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of large-scale climate control, ventilation, and refrigeration systems across our manufacturing plant. This role requires deep technical expertise in heavy machinery, a strong commitment to OSHA safety standards, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities Maintain Equipment:
Execute preventative maintenance on industrial chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and massive duct networks.
Diagnose Faults:
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures using diagnostic software, multimeters, and pressure gauges.
Perform Repairs:
Replaces defective compressors, pumps, motors, valves, and intricate wiring configurations.
Manage Refrigerants:
Handle, recover, and document refrigerant fluids in strict compliance with EPA regulations.
Read Schematics:
Interpret blueprints, structural layouts, and advanced electrical schematics to resolve issues.
Control Systems:
Program and calibrate Direct Digital Control (DDC) and building automation systems (BAS) for optimal energy efficiency and performance.
Required Qualifications Certification:
Valid EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of documented experience working on heavy commercial or industrial HVAC systems with a strong emphasis on 3 phase electrical.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, paired with a completed trade school program or HVAC apprenticeship.
Physical Ability:
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work comfortably in confined spaces or elevated industrial environments.
Licensing:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay:
$34.53 per hour
