Full-Time | Benefits Available | Competitive Pay Based on Experience We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and team-oriented individual who is comfortable working independently in the field while also working effectively with others when needed. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment and systems. Experience with HVAC controls is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment. Service and maintain commercial air conditioning and heating equipment, refrigeration systems, chillers, boilers, and mechanical room equipment. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues associated with commercial HVAC equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and service calls. Perform internal and external inspections of HVAC equipment and chillers. Take and document equipment readings to evaluate operation, performance, and efficiency. Use meters, gauges, and other HVAC diagnostic equipment to identify system and equipment problems. Recover, evacuate, charge, and service refrigerant systems in accordance with applicable requirements and manufacturer procedures. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, equipment specifications, and manufacturer service manuals. Complete service tickets and accurately document equipment conditions, diagnosis, repairs, materials used, and recommended corrective actions. Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions, repairs, and service recommendations. Maintain company-provided service vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition. Follow company, customer, industry, and regulatory safety requirements. Safely work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial/man lifts as required. Participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC service and repair experience preferred. Experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial HVAC equipment. Working knowledge of commercial air conditioning and heating systems, refrigeration, chillers, boilers, and related mechanical equipment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of electrical components associated with HVAC equipment. Ability to read electrical diagrams, equipment specifications, and service manuals. Proficiency with HVAC service tools, meters, gauges, and diagnostic equipment. EPA Universal Certification and OSHA certification required. HVAC technical school education or equivalent training preferred. Experience with HVAC controls is a plus, but not required. Clean driving record, valid driver's license, and willingness to submit to a criminal background check. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively manage assigned service calls. Ability and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime as needed.
