Residential HVAC Tech Pay Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 yearly, based on experience
Location:
Ooltewah, TN Schedule:
40+ hours weekly, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed At St. John's HeatingAir, we're expanding our growing service team and looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Tech who enjoys solving problems, delivering outstanding customer service, and building a long-term career with a company that values integrity, craftsmanship, and the people who make our success possible. What We Offer Paid vacation and company holidays Take-home company vehicle Health insurance DentalVision insurance 401K retirement program with a 3.5% company match Weekly direct deposit Monthly performance incentives and spiffs Company-issued iPhone and iPad Uniforms provided and professionally cleaned Tool purchasing assistance Company-provided training Company events and employee celebrations Paid gym membership What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record At least two years of residential HVAC service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Working knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration principles, and HVAC controls EPA Certification preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently throughout the day Own standard HVAC hand tools Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Professional attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups Inspect HVAC systems to identify performance and safety concerns Recommend repair or replacement options that best meet customer needs Test electrical components, controls, refrigerant circuits, and airflow Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and inventory Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
