https://garlandheatingandair.com Looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician with Residential and Commercial Service experience. Highly prefer NATE Certified Great opportunity to earn 'Tips' and 'Commission' in addition to competitive wages! Our growing company offers competitive wages and benefits for the technician who wants to go beyond just repairing equipment. No pushy sales tactics, we need someone who can leverage technology tools to get the job done right. Normal working hours generally during the year. Work hours during peak season 7:00am to 7:00 PM. On call overtime may be required and some Saturdays and Sundays, however, would be compensated accordingly for additional work during weekends. Primary job function is to provide quality maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of commercial and residential HHAC systems. Excellent customer communication skills are required. Chiller, VRF/VRV zoned systems, Carrier Infinity type systems experience is a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications:
EPA certified (refrigerant handling). State of Texas Technician License. NATE training is a plus but not required. Insurable driving record. Great with people and Sales driven Possess basic hand tools and instruments. Prefer high school diploma or GED or trade school graduate. Minimum 5 years commercial field experience as a service technician. Computer and advanced technology controls knowledge is a plus. Large and small RTU and split systems troubleshooting skill required. Willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles and a desire to learn. Must have clean background as that would be required for this position. We perform random drug testing, so make sure you're clean.
