Job Description:

Residential HVAC Installer We are seeking a skilled and Experienced Residential HVAC Installation Technician to lead and execute the high-quality installation of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will replace old units and install new systems—including furnaces, central AC units, heat pumps, ductwork, and smart indoor air quality accessories—while maintaining strict compliance with local building codes, EPA regulations, and safety standards

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities Execute Full System Installs:

Install residential split systems, packaged units, heat pumps, furnaces, mini-splits, and evaporative coils according to manufacturer specifications.

Refrigerant Line & Pipe Fitting:

Run, braze, and solder copper refrigerant lines; evacuate lines with a vacuum pump, charge systems to proper levels, and verify proper sealing of gas lines.

Electrical Connection:

Wire low-voltage (thermostats, control boards, sensors) and line-voltage wiring safely to equipment components.

Ductwork Fabrication:

Layout, design, and make field adjustments to sheet metal, flex duct, and plenums to maximize system airflow.

System Testing & Commissioning:

Conduct system start-ups, measure static pressure, balance airflow, test for gas or refrigerant leaks, and troubleshoot any initial startup malfunctions.

Customer Interfacing:

Clearly explain system operation to homeowners, set up digital thermostats, and present a professional company image.

Compliance & Cleanup:

Keep the job site clean and secure, safely transport old equipment for disposal, and accurately complete job documentation. Knowledgeable in customer service and ability to talk over the phone and face-to-face in a respectful manner Must be reliable and dependable and respond to service calls in a timely matter Must have a

TDLR Salary and Benefits:

• $50-90,000 average annual salary, including commission earned per service call.
