The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter. Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete installations in a timely manner. Ensure all installations are performed safely and efficiently while adhering to industry standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their HVAC systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory used. Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and techniques through ongoing training and education. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role is preferred. Familiarity with air conditioning systems, ammonia refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical design is highly desirable. Proficiency in welding techniques related to HVAC installation is a plus. Strong field service skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members. Must possess relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
