Akkodis is seeking a Plant Reconfiguration Auxiliary for a Contract job with a client in Carson, CA . The ideal candidate must have experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, facilities, or industrial environments and be comfortable performing physical relocation and workspace reconfiguration activities.

Rate Range:

$20.00/hour to $ 21.50/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Plant Reconfiguration Auxiliary job responsibilities include: Support the movement and relocation of machinery, equipment, furniture, materials, and production assets throughout the facility. Assist with the physical reorganization and adjustment of manufacturing and operational areas according to approved plant layout plans. Perform manual tasks related to space redistribution and facility reconfiguration activities. Support the installation and relocation of non-technical physical elements, including signage, floor markings, and workspace identification materials. Maintain cleanliness, order, and organization in project work areas during all phases of the reconfiguration effort. Follow all established environmental health and safety procedures and industrial safety guidelines. Collaborate with project teams to ensure layout modifications are completed according to approved plans and schedules.

Desired Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, facilities, logistics, or industrial environments. Ability to safely lift, move, and transport equipment, materials, and workplace assets. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a physically active environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting facility moves, plant relocations, warehouse reorganizations, or workspace reconfiguration projects. Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial operations.
