Our small but growing company will provide opportunities for growth to the right candidate This position requires a thorough knowledge of the product and its components. Our assembly technicians are responsible for performing tasks such as removing parts from large packages, ensuring that all components are accounted for and correctly labeled, and making sure that packaging materials are disposed of in an environmentally conscious manner.

Responsibilities:

The Assembly Technician 1 performs routine mechanical assembly operations in accordance with customer demand. Monitor inventory levels on the production floor and notify the manager of any visual material shortages. Maintains Metric Fastener Inventory organized Conducts inspections of own work with the guidance of the Assembly Operations Manager. Responsible for packaging product accessories for shipping in accordance with the checklist provided by management. After product assembly and final inspection, the Assembly Technician 1 will complete the order by creating a shipping crate, which will be constructed with the provided lumber and power tools. Responsible for daily general housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organized work environment Will need to quickly identify any production issues and communicate effectively with the manager for possible solutions. Will help implement new design changes provided by the engineering team with the guidance of the Assembly Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

The ability to operate a variety of hand tools and power tools (e.g., hammers, metric wrenches, power drills, grinders) The ability to routinely lift up to 60 pounds This position requires standing for long hours This position requires the ability to work well within a team. Attention to detail Mechanical assembly experience (preferred but not required) High school diploma or equivalent
