PrideStaff is currently recruiting a Mechanical Assembly Technician for a full-time, onsite position in Odessa, FL. This role focuses primarily on mechanical build-outs, precision assembly, and component troubleshooting in a clean, indoor facility. If you have experience working with hand tools, building mechanical assemblies from technical drawings, and identifying or resolving mechanical alignment issues, this is a great fit.

Responsibilities:

Build and assemble mechanical systems and sub-assemblies according to drawings and schematics. Use standard hand tools, torque wrenches, power tools, and measuring instruments. Perform functional testing on assembled components to ensure proper operational specs. Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical issues or fitting discrepancies during the build process. Inspect finished components for quality, fit, and operational safety. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to standard safety protocols.

Qualifications:

1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, equipment building, or mechanical troubleshooting. Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings, diagrams, or blueprints. Proficiency with standard hand tools, pneumatic tools, and mechanical measurement equipment. Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fitting or functional issues. Ability to stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs as required. High school diploma or equivalent technical training.

Compensation / Pay

Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $19.00
