This position uses hand, pneumatic, and power tools while following engineering drawings, measurements, safety procedures, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently to meet production goals. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering consistent weekday hours and the potential for long-term employment.
Responsibilities:
Install non-electrical interior and exterior components, parts, and hardware according to production specifications Read and follow engineering drawings, layouts, measurements, and written or verbal work instructions Safely operate drills, screw guns, pneumatic tools, hand tools, and other production equipment Complete assigned work within established quality, safety, and production standards Follow workplace safety, housekeeping, hazardous-material handling, and quality-control procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related manufacturing environment Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts Ability to accurately use linear and other measuring devices and perform basic math Experience safely using hand, pneumatic, and power tools Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Ability to stand at a workstation for up to 10-hour shifts and work from bending, kneeling, squatting, or overhead positions Ability to safely work from ladders or scaffolding when required Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include heat, elevated noise, dust, fumes, vibration, and moving mechanical equipment Ability to follow required PPE, OSHA/EPA, hazardous-material, and workplace safety procedures Must be available for overtime based on business needs, including possible mandatory Friday overtime
