Job Description

Manufacturing Lead - Line Position Summary As a Manufacturing Lead - Line, you play a key leadership role within the department, bridging communication between supervisors, upper management, and production staff. Operating within larger departments, you act as a lead and delegator on the production floor, ensuring product quality, meeting customer specifications, and consistently achieving efficiency and productivity targets. In addition to providing hands-on direction, you coordinate tasks, demonstrate job instructions to new hires, and occasionally step in for Assistant Supervisors and Supervisors as needed. Shift 1st
Shift:
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Peak season schedule may vary based on business needs Duties and Responsibilities Monitor, guide, and motivate staff to perform at a high level Demonstrate job instructions to new and temporary staff in alignment with departmental expectations Evaluate incoming orders and set up production lines accordingly Collaborate and communicate within the department and across multiple departments Foster a positive work environment with high morale and performance expectations Reassign and regroup associates within assigned areas to maximize team strengths Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members Identify, report, and assist in resolving production line issues Maintain a safe, clean, and fully operational work environment Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and prioritization abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and office software proficiency Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience English reading and speaking proficiency required Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred The expected hourly pay range for this position is $17.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
