Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 126052 Position Overview We are seeking a dependable HVAC Vent Fabricator / Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for building custom and standard HVAC vents by cutting, fitting, soldering, and assembling formed metal and honeycomb materials according to engineering specifications and production requirements. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. Required Experience & Skills Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16-inch increments Experience using hand tools, power tools, and air tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Good communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally Ability to stand on concrete floors for 8 10 hours per shift Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Essential Duties & Responsibilities Build custom and standard HVAC vents using formed metal and honeycomb materials Measure, cut, shape, and assemble components according to engineering specifications Read and interpret blueprints, including special-order drawings Solder vent components while maintaining high-quality workmanship Form and install Durodyne metal/rubber collars on completed vents Operate hand tools, power tools, air tools, and sit-down forklifts safely Complete required production and quality documentation accurately Maintain production quality and efficiency standards throughout the manufacturing process Participate in shop housekeeping duties, including sweeping and rotating facility cleaning assignments Follow all company safety procedures, production requirements, and attendance expectations Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D blueprints Previous manufacturing, fabrication, sheet metal, or HVAC production experience Forklift operating experience Mechanical aptitude and experience with precision assembly Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPE Ability to work extended overtime hours as required Work Environment Manufacturing and fabrication facility Heated during winter; not air-conditioned (fans provided throughout the shop) Required use of PPE;employees must provide their own steel-toed boots or shoes Safety glasses must meet OSHA requirements or be worn with approved goggles Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork Important Job Requirements Mandatory overtime based on production needs Employees are required to take notes during training Attendance and reliability are critical during the training period Documentation must be completed accurately with zero tolerance for non-compliance No personal cell phones, earbuds, or headphones during work hours Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are prohibited except in designated areas during approved breaks Shorts, tank tops, and cut-off sleeve shirts are not permitted on the production floor Drug screen and E-Verify completion required before starting employment Why You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $18.00/hour Stable Monday Friday first-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to learn specialized HVAC fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing skills Performance-based pay increases and permanent employment opportunities based on attendance, quality, productivity, and successful completion of training Ready to Apply?
