G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. Our Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position is full-time with a stable work shift throughout the year and great benefits including attendance bonuses and employee appreciation events ! Our Industrial Maintenance Mechanics are reliable team members responsible for Installing, troubleshooting issues, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment utilized in the company's operations Repair or replace electric cords, switches, heating elements and basic wiring

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

Previous maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing facility required High school diploma or equivalent required Able to interpret blue prints, electrical schematics, and technical documents Working knowledge of electrical devices and their interaction with the equipment to which they are attached

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to talk and hear Frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds May infrequently lift and / or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.

Shift Time:

3rd shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm-6:00am (hours will vary) Why G&S Foods?
