Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery and facilities. Performs preventative maintenance tasks, like Lubrication, Welding, Fabrication, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Plumbing, Power Transmission and Gearing, Alignment and Vibration, Conveyors, Building Trades etc. Effectively trouble shoot all mechanical equipment, take corrective action, repair, replace, or rebuild, as necessary. Communicate and diagnose malfunctions with other maintenance employees and supervisors. Must be able to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team. Utilize maintenance software to complete assigned work orders. Maintain a safe and orderly work area. Required to use all personal protective equipment that is provided. Overtime may be required. Other duties as required
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalency Certification or technical degree preferred. 2+ years Maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred Knowledge of hydraulics, gear boxes, transmissions, clutches and brakes, welding, lubrication systems and bearings, oven blowers and burners desired. Requires a well-rounded and experienced knowledge of the practices, tools, equipment and materials used in assigned skill trade area.
