This is a hands-on maintenance role in a demanding paper manufacturing environment. The right person will be comfortable troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and working alongside electrical, pipefitting, and boiler specialists. What You'll Do- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment
- Work with gears, chains, bearings, conveyors, shafts, and rotating equipment
- Diagnose mechanical problems and make repairs to keep production running
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Work with electrical technicians and other maintenance trades as needed
- Assist with piping, pumps, valves, and related plant equipment
- Identify equipment issues before they become production problems
- Follow maintenance, safety, and plant procedures
- Work in a hot, industrial manufacturing environment What We're Looking For
- 20+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Hands-on experience with gears, chains, bearings, conveyors, and rotating equipment
- Experience in a manufacturing, mill, plant, or other industrial environment
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and equipment documentation
- Comfortable working with other skilled trades, including electricians, pipefitters, and boiler personnel
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding industrial environment The Environment This is a working mill.
