Job Description
Miniature Casting Corporation, a leader in the manufacturing of high quality precision components for the automotive, medical and electronics industries, is seeking an experienced mechanic to work in our facility as a manufacturing technician/ operator, Level II. If you enjoy using your mechanical aptitude for problem solving in a team-based environment, then we are looking for you to join our experienced crew. Miniature Casting Corporation is looking to hire Production Mechanics for its Cranston, Rhode Island manufacturing facility. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience. Experienced technicians are encouraged to apply. Eight years of advanced manufacturing experience for Level II or 5 years for Level I Mechanic , working with industrial machinery in production, is required. Specific die casting experience isn't necessary, but a strong candidate would have a familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and possess troubleshooting experience. Plastic injection molding machine experience is acceptable. Tool and die set up experience is a plus. This is non-CNC work and does not translate from CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a can-do attitude that would be interested in learning a unique and important trade. The candidate would be capable of making adjustments to our machines and dies as necessary (training will be provided) and would have excellent troubleshooting skills. This is an operator/mechanic role combined.
