Elevator Installation Mechanic Traveling Crew | Based out of Knoxville, TN About Kaiser Elevators Kaiser Elevators is an independent elevator contractor delivering new installations, modernization, repair and maintenance solutions across the United States. We partner with developers, general contractors, consultants, property managers and building owners to deliver safe, reliable and high-quality elevator solutions. The Opportunity As an Elevator Installation Mechanic , you'll install commercial elevator systems that meet the highest standards of safety, quality and reliability. Your Responsibilities Install hydraulic and traction elevator systems on commercial projects. Read and interpret drawings, layouts and installation specifications. Assemble, install and align elevator equipment to manufacturer and project requirements. Perform mechanical and electrical installation work safely and efficiently. Coordinate with Project Managers, suppliers and other trades to keep projects on schedule. Identify and resolve installation issues while maintaining quality standards. Conduct testing and assist with commissioning activities prior to handover. Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite at all times. Complete installation documentation and daily reports as required. Follow

A17.1 and Kaiser safety and quality standards. Represent Kaiser professionally on every job site. What We're Looking For Experience installing commercial elevator systems. Experience with hydraulic and traction elevators. Previous experience with an independent elevator contractor preferred. Strong understanding of elevator installation methods and safety requirements. Ability to read construction drawings and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality workmanship. What Success Looks like in Your First 12 Months Consistently delivered safe, high-quality installations that meet Kaiser standards. Built a reputation for reliability, professionalism and attention to detail. Worked collaboratively with Project Managers and field teams to keep projects on schedule. Location & Travel Location:
Knoxville, Tennessee (or as agreed).
Travel:
Travel to customer and project sites throughout Tennessee and surrounding areas. Overnight stays may be required depending on project location, with accommodation provided by Kaiser. Attendance at annual company retreats is expected.
