The Opportunity As an Elevator Installation Mechanic , you'll install commercial elevator systems that meet the highest standards of safety, quality and reliability. Your Responsibilities Install hydraulic and traction elevator systems on commercial projects. Read and interpret drawings, layouts and installation specifications. Assemble, install and align elevator equipment to manufacturer and project requirements. Perform mechanical and electrical installation work safely and efficiently. Coordinate with Project Managers, suppliers and other trades to keep projects on schedule. Identify and resolve installation issues while maintaining quality standards. Conduct testing and assist with commissioning activities prior to handover. Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite at all times. Complete installation documentation and daily reports as required. Follow

OSHA, ASME

A17.1 and Kaiser safety and quality standards. Represent Kaiser professionally on every job site. What We're Looking For Experience installing commercial elevator systems. Experience with hydraulic and traction elevators. Previous experience with an independent elevator contractor preferred. Strong understanding of elevator installation methods and safety requirements. Ability to read construction drawings and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knoxville, Tennessee (or as agreed).

Travel:

Travel to customer and project sites throughout Tennessee and surrounding areas. Overnight stays may be required depending on project location, with accommodation provided by Kaiser. Attendance at annual company retreats is expected.
