Hourly Rate for the Tools Person is $23.73 per hour. Summary/Objective Support operations by keeping facilities and the grounds clear and maintains tools and equipment. Essential Functions Maintains the facility yard Maintains the facility shop. Organize product. Conduct inventory and order supplies Performs landscaping duties. Cleans all offices, restrooms, and shops. Perform maintenance of facility vehicles, Maintain torque log sheets. Performs inspections of electronic forklift. Breaks down and disposes of used boxes. Competencies Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal. Must be detail oriented. Ability to solve problems. Ability to work as a team. Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities. Punctual and dependable person. Ability to operate a vehicle/machinery. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports. Work Environment Outdoors exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.). Physical Demands Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime. Travel This position does not have any travel requirements. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience. Computer Operations Basic personal computer skills. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card).
