Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join our team in Benicia. This role serves as a key link between the Quality Assurance Technicians and the QA Manager, providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the QA team while ensuring products consistently meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance, inspections, documentation, and team leadership within a manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment. This position reports directly to the QA Manager and assists with overseeing quality processes, training team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Lead and support QA Technicians during daily operations. Conduct routine quality inspections and verify compliance with company standards. Review production records, quality documentation, and inspection reports for accuracy and completeness. Assist the QA Manager with implementing and maintaining quality systems and procedures. Train and mentor QA Technicians on quality standards, inspection methods, and best practices. Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints, and assist with corrective actions. Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, Food Safety, or other applicable quality standards. Perform product evaluations, audits, and process checks throughout production. Collaborate with Production, Operations, and Warehouse teams to address quality concerns. Monitor and communicate quality metrics and trends. Support internal and external audits as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Qualifications 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing, food production, pharmaceutical, or industrial environment. Previous experience leading or mentoring team members preferred. Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspections, and documentation requirements. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, FDA, ISO, or related quality standards is a plus. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. High School Diploma or GED required; additional quality certifications are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and maintain accurate documentation. #1056ST Express Office:
