This position is responsible for providing a varied set of duties based on the operational priorities of the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve. These duties can include mowing, trimming, trash pick-up, janitorial services including cleaning of restrooms, snow and leaf removal, landscape maintenance, invasive species removal, tree/brush removal, trail maintenance, equipment repair and maintenance and other duties as needed. This position is a casual seasonal 29.5hours/week, with anticipated hire dates of April through mid November 2026. Work is performed under various weather conditions. Additional work on weekends, evenings and holidays may be scheduled.\nEssential Functions\nEssential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class. Performs grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, trail maintenance, landscape bed maintenance, trash removal, vegetation removal, leaf removal and snow/ice removal.

Set-up, monitoring and clean-up support for programs and special events.
