We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded individual to provide grounds, property, livestock, and general facility support at a 200-acre testing and training facility serving the Department of War and federal and local law-enforcement agencies. Primary Responsibilities Report directly to the Site Manager and complete assigned daily maintenance priorities Mow and maintain grass throughout the property Perform weed eating, trimming, and general landscaping Remove debris and maintain clean, orderly outdoor areas Operate a John Deere 6155 tractor Operate a John Deere zero-turn mower Perform basic equipment maintenance on tractors, mowers, and other facility equipment (e.g., oil changes, fluid checks, filter changes) Provide basic daily care for livestock located on the property Perform basic facility and building maintenance Clean facility spaces, buildings, restrooms, common areas, and work areas as required Monitor and restock facility, restroom, kitchen, and cleaning supplies Assist with small construction, repair, and property-improvement projects Inspect the grounds, facilities, and buildings and report maintenance or safety concerns to the Site Manager Properly care for and maintain assigned tools and equipment Follow all facility safety, security, and access requirements Work occasional weekend hours based on facility operations and scheduling needs Assist with opening and closing the facility Perform any other general facility, building, grounds, livestock-care, or property-maintenance tasks as assigned Qualifications Experience operating tractors, zero-turn mowers, and similar grounds-maintenance equipment Working knowledge of basic building and facility maintenance Willingness and ability to provide basic livestock care and clean animal pens Ability to safely perform physically demanding indoor and outdoor work Ability to work in Florida weather conditions Ability and willingness to work occasional weekends Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to follow established safety, security, and access procedures Must successfully complete a background check and fingerprinting Preference may be given to qualified applicants who live in or near the 34219 area.
