Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Assist with repairs involving electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and mechanical equipment using hand tools and schematics. Support the maintenance of facilities equipment including HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing systems, and building interior fixtures. Conduct maintenance painting projects and building interior touch-ups to uphold aesthetic standards. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues and repair electrical equipment efficiently. Supervise or assist with small-scale projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants and communicating clearly about repair timelines. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance, repair, or operations (MRO), with knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, welding, and mechanical repairs. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools for various repair tasks. Electrical experience including electrical equipment repair and electrical system troubleshooting. Ability to perform plumbing system maintenance and repair effectively. Experience with residential painting and building interior maintenance projects. Supervising or leadership experience is a plus; ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC system repair techniques, facility equipment maintenance standards, schematics interpretation, and safety protocols related to electrical work is highly desirable.
