Summary As a Maintenance Assistant at Sunny View Care Center, you will oversee the maintenance operations within our facility, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally to support our residents' quality of life. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment that aligns with our mission of exceptional care. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory. Fabricate and repair equipment as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Review schematics and technical documentation to troubleshoot issues effectively. Assist in project management for facility upgrades or renovations as required. Train staff on maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare or residential setting. Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems, along with schematics interpretation. Familiarity with CMMS software for effective maintenance tracking. Basic fabrication skills are preferred but not mandatory. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with staff and vendors. Understanding of logic controllers is beneficial but not required.
