Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Facilities and Maintenance Specialist to oversee the upkeep, repair, and operational efficiency of our facilities. This vital role involves maintaining a safe, functional, and well-organized environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and supervising facility operations. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills to ensure our facilities run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our manufacturing or operational activities with excellence. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools; handle wiring, circuit testing, and electrical component replacement. Oversee facilities maintenance activities including plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, and residential painting projects to maintain a safe and appealing environment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times during maintenance activities. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for repairs or facility support. Snow Removal at our facilities. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields within manufacturing or industrial environments. Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding, residential painting, and general repair work. Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, welding, mechanical repairs, and general facilities management. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively in troubleshooting electrical issues.
