Position:
Maintenance Assistant (1 Full-time and 1 Part-time)
Wages:
$20.00-$26.00
Responsibilities:
Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools. Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner. Assist in setting up rooms or equipment for special events or resident needs. Support snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks. Communicate effectively with staff and residents to address maintenance concerns.
Qualifications:
1-2 years' experience as Maintenance Assistant Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field required Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues efficiently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Reliable, Ambitious, Patient, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic . Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency maintenance as needed.
