As a Driver/Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in improving the lives of our residents by: Safely transporting residents to various locations via company car, van, or bus, coordinating pick-ups and drop-offs with them, and maintaining accurate vehicle records. Completing scheduled maintenance and repairs for buildings and grounds, such as painting, carpet cleaning, and snow/debris removal from walkways. Performing apartment reconditioning tasks, including fixture installation and general repairs. Maintaining all areas of the community to the highest standard, ensuring proper record-keeping for work orders, certifications, and scheduling. Assisting in safety preparedness of associates and residents, participating in Safety Committee Meetings, fire drills, and other emergency exercises.What We're Looking For:
1+ year of experience in maintenance, minor repairs, painting, and grounds upkeep, with the ability to operate applicable tools and equipment. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (Chauffer's license is required in the state of Iowa). Compassionate communication and teamwork skills.
