Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team at an apartment complex. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property. The Maintenance Worker will handle a variety of tasks related to building upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance to provide residents with a comfortable and well-maintained living environment. Duties Perform routine inspections of the apartment complex to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Conduct repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, appliances, and structural elements as required. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or management, addressing issues efficiently and effectively. Assist with general upkeep tasks such as painting, carpentry, landscaping, and cleaning common areas. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs completed. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. Collaborate with property management to plan preventative maintenance schedules and upgrades. Requirements Prior experience in building maintenance or a similar role is preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repair techniques. Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Good communication skills for coordinating with residents and team members. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions. Reliable work ethic with a proactive approach to maintaining the property's condition. Pay:
$23.94 - $28.83 per hour Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
