The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in facilities maintenance. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Maintenance Person will work closely with other team members to address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance tasks and inventory. Fabricate parts or components as needed to support maintenance operations. Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to facility-related inquiries from staff and visitors. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance. Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting. Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred. Ability to fabricate components using various tools and techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Experience with CMMS software is a plus. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous but not required. A commitment to safety and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
