Job Description

This position is responsible for completing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the building and grounds are in good working order.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Special Projects - The incumbent will be responsible to assisting in completing delegated tasks when necessary. This includes electrical work, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry. If the work requires a licensed trades worker, the Building Superintendent will contact management. The position assists vendors and custodians. The primary challenge for this position involves taking care of rental property with specialized laboratory requirements and knowing how to handle some of the intricacies of that.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
Lifting of equipment, perhaps as much at 40 lbs.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE
Minimum Level of Job-Related Education:
certification in several of the trades if possible
Minimum Amount of Job-Related Experience:
2 years progressive experience in several of the trades Minimum Level of any Required Qualifications, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, or any
Relevant Knowledge, Job Skill or Equivalent Experience:
