Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and weed control to maintain healthy and attractive grounds. Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools safely and efficiently. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Conduct plant identification to assess health and recommend appropriate care or pest management strategies. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plant health while ensuring safety standards are met. Maintain outdoor areas by performing snow plowing, debris removal, and general groundskeeping tasks during seasonal changes. Assist with tree care, gardening projects, landscape design enhancements, and hardscape installations to improve overall site aesthetics. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscaping practices. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, irrigation systems, lawn care equipment, and other groundskeeping machinery. Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, pesticide management, and landscape maintenance techniques. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling equipment or working in potentially hazardous conditions. Strong physical stamina for activities such as mowing, digging, lifting heavy objects, snow plowing, and prolonged outdoor work. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues related to plants or equipment early on. Valid driver's license preferred; experience operating groundskeeping equipment is highly desirable.
