Position Summary The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the apartment community. This role helps ensure that common areas, amenities, and grounds remain clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of property grounds, parking areas, breezeways, hallways, stairwells, and common areas Pick up trash and debris throughout the property daily Assist with trash compactor and dumpster area maintenance Clean and maintain amenities such as laundry rooms, pool areas, fitness centers, and leasing office exterior areas Assist maintenance team with basic tasks when needed Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual activity to management Help prepare units and common areas for inspections and tours Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an organized manner Qualifications Previous porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience preferred but not required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to follow instructions and work independently Positive attitude and teamwork mentality Schedule Monday - Friday Occasional weekends may be required depending on property needs Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within the company
