Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead our forestry/construction service department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Duties Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to maximize productivity. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors to ensure high performance and professional growth. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Handle customer inquiries effectively through clear communication about repairs, costs, timelines, and machine status to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain detailed service writing records for each transaction. Collaborate with parts departments to ensure timely availability of parts needed for repairs. Experience Preferably a minimum of 5 year experience as a heavy equipment mechanic. Service manager experience or similar managerial role desired. Experience with diagnostic software systems as well as writing detailed descriptions on repairs performed.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
