Job Description

We're seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team in supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all plant equipment within a heavy industrial environment. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, focusing on maximizing equipment uptime, driving preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring full compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily maintenance tasks, assign priorities, and support technicians with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical troubleshooting. Lead repairs, equipment upgrades, and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve productivity. Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions. Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards, including Lockout/Tagout and confined space procedures. Manage parts inventory, track work in the CMMS system, and collaborate across departments to meet operational goals. Train and develop maintenance staff to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Support maintenance budgeting, planning, and respond to off-hours maintenance needs when necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred. 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role. Strong mechanical skills; working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and industrial systems. Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting is a plus. Proficient in reading blueprints and using CMMS platforms. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to work flexible hours to support 24/7 operations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and work in a demanding industrial environment with exposure to heat, noise, and machinery. CIV123

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
