A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance, work orders, and third-party services while managing the plant's CMMS and auditing maintenance effectiveness, as the Maintenance Planner Utilize CMMS to effectively plan, schedule, and manage work orders from inception to completion, ensuring documentation and tracking of all maintenance activities Coordinate with third-party service providers to handle service requests, establish purchase orders, and ensure timely closure of projects Assist in budget preparation for production maintenance, managing expenses to stay within financial requirements Monitor and track maintenance metrics and performance through detailed reports, spreadsheets, and visual presentations Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and current GMP standards while maintaining production areas Communicate preventive maintenance requirements and updates with plant management, facilitating a clear understanding of ongoing maintenance challenges Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience :
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
