In this pivotal role, you will manage maintenance teams, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and coordinate the repair and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and reliability across all facility operations, fostering a proactive maintenance culture that supports organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a passion for leading teams to excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities. Oversee the management of mechanical systems repair including HVAC systems, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing systems, and other critical infrastructure. Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track asset history, and optimize maintenance workflows. Conduct engineering troubleshooting using schematics, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Manage facilities management projects from planning through execution while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and budget constraints. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training staff on OSHA standards, and maintaining a safe working environment. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or system upgrades involving HVAC, electrical systems, or mechanical components. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, safety incidents, and equipment performance for continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Experience using CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation purposes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and vendors. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently. Prior experience managing facilities maintenance within industrial or large commercial settings is highly desirable.
