Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, performing repairs, and supporting the overall safety and functionality of the property. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Perform repairs on electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components using appropriate tools and techniques. Carry out facilities maintenance including carpentry work, painting (including residential painting), and general building interior upkeep. Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and oversee minor repair tasks to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality. Requirements Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and building interior upkeep. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics interpretation. Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting (including residential), plumbing system maintenance and repair, as well as electrical equipment repair. Communication skills in English to facilitate clear instructions, Spanish language is plus. Experience in a maintenance environment is preferred. Familiarity with facilities equipment maintenance procedures including MRO practices is advantageous. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working with electrical systems or performing plumbing repairs. Flexibility to perform routine inspections, emergency repairs, or scheduled maintenance as needed.
