As a vital leader within our technical team, you will oversee the inspection, diagnosis, and servicing of vehicles. We are a small family run 4 bay shop that does all general mechanical repair and tire sales. You would have your own dedicated bay and be focused primarily on engine and A/C work as well as any other general repairs that come through the door. Responsibilities Lead daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment Lead a team of mechanics, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback to enhance skills and productivity Diagnose mechanical issues accurately using tools such as Scanners and Ohmmeters, smoke testing, etc. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections Collaborate with management to plan equipment upgrades or replacements based on operational needs and technical assessments Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic with demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices Proficiency in using diagnostic tools Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues swiftly Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards ASE Certifications for engine, A/C and brakes needed at minimum Ability to work hands-on in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail We are open Monday- Friday 8-430 and Saturdays 8-noon Join us as a Lead Mechanic and become part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to operational excellence.
Pay:
