Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
Lead Comp:
$80,000-$100,000 +
Annual Bonus Location:
Greenwood, IN Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a direct hire Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Lead position.
Responsibilities:
Lead the deployment, implementation, and sustainability of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives across the business unit Drive equipment reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles Serve as a change agent by building TPM systems and gaining buy-in across engineering, operations, maintenance, and production teams Develop and implement autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, preventive maintenance, reliability maintenance, and focused improvement programs Identify equipment losses and implement strategies to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Integrate Lean tools to eliminate waste, improve process flow, and increase manufacturing efficiency Partner with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Leadership to improve equipment performance and plant reliability Develop systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing data using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools Utilize data to drive maintenance strategy and continuous improvement initiatives Lead problem-solving activities and standardize best practices across manufacturing operations Support quality, safety, delivery, and cost improvement initiatives through TPM methodologies Document processes, maintain project updates, and communicate progress to cross-functional stakeholders Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor evaluating equipment, processes, and opportunities for improvement Required Skills (Must Have): Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or another STEM-related discipline 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or similar manufacturing role Hands-on experience actively implementing and leading TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, machine reliability, and maintenance strategies Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies including Kaizen and Six Sigma Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally and influence multiple departments without direct authority Excellent communication and project management skills Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience in advanced or complex manufacturing environments Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Experience with maintenance analytics and data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, etc.) Experience improving OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and overall maintenance cost performance Experience developing and implementing TPM systems from the ground up Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing experience Experience driving cultural change and gaining organizational buy-in for continuous improvement initiatives #ENG123 About Pinnacle Partners For more than two decades, Pinnacle Partners has been connecting top talent with leading employers across Indianapolis, Louisville, Cincinnati, and other cities throughout the Midwest.
