We are seeking an experienced Robotic Welding Team Leader to join our 2nd shift team and help coordinate robotic welding quality activities to ensure consistent production, adherence to customer specifications, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role will support and guide team members, monitor welding processes and quality standards, and promote a strong team environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Communicates Group Leader's directions to Team Members. Assist in coordinating activities of the team to ensure production schedules are met. Analyze work problems and recommend solution to Manager. Assist Team Members in resolving problems/concerns that affect their performance (i.e., direct to Manager, Human Resources etc.). Maintain production records, as needed. Report machine and equipment malfunctions to Machine Maintenance team. Perform activities of Team Members as needed. Qualifications Experience in automotive manufacturing with proven leadership in a high-volume production environment. Experience operating, troubleshooting, and supporting robotic welding systems. Strong knowledge of MIG and resistance spot welding processes, weld quality standards, and blueprint interpretation. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop production teams while maintaining a safe, productive work environment. Skilled in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and implementing corrective actions to improve quality, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems. Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams. Proficient with manufacturing systems such as SAP, MES, Microsoft Office, and basic robotic programming. Share job details to
