A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Louisville, KY Location:
Louisville, KY Schedule:
6am-2pm
Pay:
up to $26/hr
Job Type:
Full-Time Our client is seeking a self-directed and organized Material Planner to support the Purchasing and Maintenance departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced manufacturing environment , can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable working with computers, inventory, purchasing, and maintenance systems. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders . Maintain accurate inventory records for maintenance parts and supplies . Perform data entry and updates within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) . Generate and maintain Preventive Maintenance reports . Coordinate sending tools and equipment out for repair . Verify and maintain non-production parts inventory . Assist with reconciling Procurement Card (P-Card) purchases . Research vendors and maintain accurate supplier information . Communicate with sub-suppliers regarding purchased services . Maintain plant office supplies and assist with other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Support the Purchasing and Maintenance teams with daily administrative and organizational needs. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous purchasing, inventory, maintenance, or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment . Comfortable working with computers and entering data accurately.
