Job Description

Engineering & Maintenance Manager role This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving capital projects, improving equipment reliability, overseeing maintenance programs, and supporting plant growth while ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead the engineering, maintenance, and facilities teams to support safe and efficient plant operations. Manage capital (CAPEX) projects from planning through implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Oversee preventive maintenance programs, CMMS, work order systems, spare parts inventory, and equipment reliability initiatives. Develop engineering solutions that improve production, quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments on equipment installations, facility improvements, and manufacturing projects. Manage department budgets, contractors, and third-party vendors. Lead equipment startups, commissioning, qualifications (IQ/OQ), troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts. Hire, coach, develop, and evaluate engineering and maintenance team members. Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, ISO standards, and regulatory
MUST HAVES
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field. 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 5+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance or engineering teams. Experience managing CAPEX projects, preventive maintenance programs, and equipment reliability initiatives. CAPEX Pay:
$130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
