What they do

A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Job Summary Manage technical activities such as analyzing service requests, designing and drafting work orders, estimating and requesting construction materials and equipment, maintaining mapping systems, and other technical activities.
Job Description What You'll Do:
Provide leadership and technical services direction to establish a high performing engineering design team. Ensure the contribution of all employees within the Distribution Design group in developing methods and approaches by maintaining close involvement with the employees and listening to the ideas, needs and recommendations Ensure that each employee maintains a customer focused attitude by conveying a thorough understanding of customer expectations and instill the importance of achieving superior customer satisfaction. Monitor design, material and work progress on department projects to control costs within estimated budget and to ensure codes, standards and schedules are met. Coordinate with other departments to maintain accurate maps of the distribution system. Develop employee skills/knowledge. Promotes and assures standard compliance.
What We're Looking For:
Education and work requirements are listed below : Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline, and minimum of 5 years' experience in the design of power system electrical distribution facilities or other related experience. OR associate's degree in electrical/electronic technology or related discipline, and minimum of 7 years' experience in the design of distribution facilities OR High school diploma or GED with 9 years of experience in the design of distribution facilities.
