Supervisor Maintenance 2nd shift Center Manufacturing Acquisition Hazel Park, MI Job Details 1 hour ago Qualifications Carpentry Manufacturing plant facilities maintenance experience Mechanical blueprint interpretation Staff supervision Team leadership Electrical schematic reading and interpretation Equipment troubleshooting Blueprint dimension interpretation Managing facilities maintenance teams Electrical maintenance Technical troubleshooting support Full Job Description Job Responsibilities Establishes standards and policies for installation, modification, testing, operating procedures, inspection and maintenance of equipment according to engineering principles and safety regulations. Leads, mentors, supports, and trains maintenance team. Tracks and maintains optimum labor utilization and efficiency. Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract satisfaction. Management of spare parts, material and inventories. Plans, coordinates, and schedules all predictive and preventative maintenance programs for structures, utilities, and equipment. Provides technical support and communicates to other departments regarding process and/or equipment changes. Builds and maintains relationships with other internal departments and outside services. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory laws and ISO requirements. Follows and ensures maintenance team follows all safety regulations. Identifies and corrects potential safety hazards. Completes other projects as assigned. Job Skills Requirements Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lead and direct work in fast-paced environment. Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing maintenance processes related to machinery, carpentry, electrical, etc. Educational Requirements Associates degree in relevant field, or equivalent education and experience. Experience Requirements Minium three years of maintenance leadership experience. Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred.
