Maintenance PlannerShift:
1st Shift
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules based on preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability strategies, and operational requirements. Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities, including corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance. Allocate resources such as labor, materials, and equipment necessary to execute maintenance plans effectively and efficiently. Monitor work order backlog and prioritize tasks to optimize workflow and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to record maintenance activities, track equipment history, and generate reports. Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, evaluate performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with procurement and inventory management to ensure availability of spare parts and materials required for maintenance activities. Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams to resolve complex issues and improve maintenance practices. Participate in regular meetings and communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on maintenance schedules, progress, and challenges. Engineering & Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager Requirements:
The employee must regularly sit, stand and walk. This position requires frequent use of a computer. The Team Member must occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The ability to occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds is also required. The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only standardization exists is required as is the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. This position must communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. The ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision is also required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to extreme cold (-10F in some freezers), extreme heat (over 110F). The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. This position also requires the employee to spend keyboarding and analyzing information on a computer, one must have the ability to prepare sketches or insert digital pictures into the planning document. An Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school or two years or more of related experience and/or training required. Must have basic mechanical/electrical/mathematical skills.
