Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee the upkeep, repair, and safety of our industrial and commercial facilities, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate seamlessly. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, managing daily operations and coordinating repair activities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime and reduce downtime. Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC units, plumbing systems, and industrial machinery using schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards by conducting safety audits, enforcing safety procedures, and maintaining proper documentation. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by planning schedules, coordinating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion. Conduct inspections of facilities using tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters; diagnose issues accurately; perform repairs following established maintenance procedures. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, safety incidents, and system performance using CMMS software for effective tracking and reporting.

Requirements :

Associates degree or equivalent technical degree; and at least five years related experience, or supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have plastic injection molding experience and preferably in Automotive environment. Strong knowledge of industrial utilities and building systems. Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in industrial or commercial settings with strong leadership skills. Extensive mechanical knowledge including repair of HVAC systems (including HVAC system repair), electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing maintenance (plumbing system maintenance and repair), and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and electrical experience necessary for complex system diagnostics. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety protocols within a facilities environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, planning, and communication purposes. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while managing resources effectively. Experience with CMMS platforms for scheduling maintenance work orders and tracking asset history. Strong team management abilities with a focus on supervising staff performance while fostering a safety-conscious culture. Ability to read technical schematics related to electrical wiring diagrams or mechanical layouts; use testing tools such as voltmeters or ohmmeters confidently.

While performing the duties of this job, the following is the working conditions: Work is performed primarily in an automotive plastic injection molding manufacturing environment with regular time spent on the production floor and in quality labs. Exposure with noise, moving machinery, forklifts, temperature variations, plastic resins, and production chemicals typical of injection molding operations. Required to wear appropriate PPE such as safety glasses, and reflecting green "quality" vest. May be exposed to odors, dust, and fumes associated with molding processes and materials. Work schedule is generally day shift, with off shift, weekend, or extended hours required to support production issues, launches, audits or customer concerns. Position requires frequent interaction with production personnel, engineering, maintenance, and management on the shop floor. Occasional travel to customer or supplier locations may be required for audits, launches, or issue resolution. Fast-paced environment with time sensitive decision making to minimize quality risks and production downtime. Work involves a combination of standing, walking, sitting, and computer-based tasks.
