Job Description

A well-respected and growing company is urgently seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Shop Foreman to join their skilled team in the Sandusky, OH area. This role supports shop efficiency through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, quality repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks and mobile fleet service. The ideal Foreman/Mechanic will have at least 5+ years of previous technical repair experience as a Heavy Truck Technician, 2+ years of experience in a Lead/Supervisory role , be a strong leader, and be well-versed with advanced engine, electrical diagnostics!
Responsibilities:
Lead a shop of junior and senior technicians Perform triage, diagnosis, and some repair of heavy trucks (quick fixes) Report to Service Manager requirements and status of the shop and technicians Manage repair times of technicians & work order flow. Communicate timeframes, expectations, and issues to the leadership team Test drive trucks for drivability issues Communicate repair expectations to the techs on the floor Speaking Basic Spanish and fluent in English will be a requirement to success
Compensation:
$45.00
  • 50.
00/hr Starting wage is based upon previous experience, certifications, and training.
Full Comprehensive Benefits Boot Reimbursement Program Uniforms Shift Schedule:
Day Shift , 7:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Monday
  • Friday No On Call OT Available Successful candidates will be required to pass pre-employment screening #MHA
