Supervisory Electrician / Maintenance Manager Position Summary This dual-role leader is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility equipment, utilities, and electrical systems in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing environment. The role combines advanced electrical expertise with hands-on leadership of a nine-person maintenance team, balancing floor support with planning, reporting, coaching, and other management responsibilities. • Strong computer skills, including email, Excel, reporting tools, and CMMS maintenance systems. Key Responsibilities
• Perform and supervise electrical work in compliance with the National Electrical Code, Oregon licensing requirements, and company safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical, controls, automation, PLC, VFD, servo, robotics, and production-equipment issues.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including work orders, schedules, equipment history, inspections, and CMMS records.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of industrial machinery, utilities, and facility systems such as pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and fabrication.
• Lead, coach, train, and hold maintenance employees accountable for safety, quality, productivity, workmanship, and continuous improvement.
• Drive equipment reliability and downtime-reduction initiatives while developing and maintaining SOPs, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable sanitation, regulatory, and workplace requirements.
• Support operations as needed and prioritize team workload, repairs, projects, contractors, and preventive maintenance. Required Qualifications
• Current Oregon Supervising Electrician license required. A lower-level license may be considered only if the candidate is already qualified and scheduled to test for the Supervising Electrician license within the next few months.
• 6-10 years of progressive leadership experience in maintenance, electrical, or technical operations.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, automation, machinery, and facility systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees, communicate clearly, solve problems, prioritize work, and remain effective under pressure.
• Intermediate or better proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially email and Excel, plus experience with CMMS platforms.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and applicable regulatory requirements.

Pay:

$125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
