We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations and lead a small team at our Marion, SC manufacturing facility. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership to keep industrial equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. About the Role As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform general maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and guide a small team to minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will combine hands-on repair work with planning, safety leadership, and coordination with production to keep the facility operating at a high standard. What You ll Do Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery, including electrical systems, motors, and controls. Lead a small maintenance team, assign tasks and work orders, provide guidance, and ensure timely completion of work. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize production downtime. Maintain and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and lighting, as needed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety standards. Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations. Maintain accurate maintenance records and recommend equipment upgrades or improvements. Train team members on proper maintenance techniques and safety practices. Manage spare parts, tools, and work-order systems to support efficient repairs. Respond to breakdowns and after-hours maintenance needs as required to restore production. Support installation, commissioning, and contractor coordination for specialized repairs or new equipment. Looking For Education & Experience:
3+ years in general maintenance and electrical systems in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced production environment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical or industrial maintenance preferred. Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams. Ability to work in demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panels. Proficiency with tools such as multimeters, welders, and power tools. Familiarity with OSHA standards, electrical codes, and lockout/tagout procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and strong communication. Ability to work independently, collaborate across production teams, and adapt quickly to equipment and process changes. Why Explore Industries?
Compensation Salary Range:
$65,000 - $75,000 annually Actual compensation will be based on experience and job-related skills.
